Our Story:

Having worked in the media sales industry for over 20 years, David Einstein had long experienced the frustrations, challenges and hurdles that the media sales office presented for sellers trying to get to budget each month and for managers trying to get a good handle on the performance and activity in the sales department. The list was long and included the many inefficient spreadsheets and processes, lack of consolidation, difficulty accessing and collecting information, redundancies throughout the station and much more.

David envisioned a better way in 1999 while working as a local seller for one of the network television stations in Columbus, OH and received approval to lead the project and provide a solution. He envisioned an easy-to-use system that would deliver a consolidated account management system that would provide electronic account claiming, forecasting and reporting tools for the sales department. He went to The Ohio State University Department of Engineering to place an ad. 

While pursuing his degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Matt Longhouse started a consulting company to help bring efficiency and effectiveness to organizations through technology. As part of his process to generate new business, Matt periodically monitored bulletin boards and came across David’s ad.

They worked together to build the functionality of the Account Management project that was quickly embraced by the station’s sales staff and became an integrated and successful part of their workflow. Following David’s move to the radio business he and Matt decided to rework their initial project into a comprehensive web-based solution designed to serve the media sales industry and improve efficiency and effectiveness. To help make this happen, they also brought in seasoned software architects David Everhart and Rob Schieber to help anchor the development team. Efficio was born.

The goal of Efficio was to provide a solution to consolidate all the tools that media sales organizations needed to be effective and efficient. This system was designed to benefit all media advertising sales organizations within the US and internationally. The company was founded on a firm commitment to service and a determination that this system would grow with the media business and listen to its customers who could help steer the product direction.

To date, Efficio is being used by over 625 radio stations, television stations and interactive media sales organizations in over 33 states and 3 countries. Efficio provides a robust Account Management/CRM solution that’s loaded with intuitive sales management systems, automation tools, robust reporting and a continuing commitment to growing with our clients and the needs of the media sales industry.

Efficio Solutions is a direct byproduct of our own frustrations working in and with Media Sales organizations. We set forth to create new efficiencies by helping this industry harvest the benefits of technology so sellers could get back to what they are supposed to be doing: selling, not creating redundant reports and paperwork. The result is Efficio. A centralized sales management system designed to help create the efficiencies we longed for.With over 20 years of media sales and technology experience, our team is well diversified and committed to offer a 'state of the art' cost effective solution for your organization.



Management Team:

David Isaac Einstein – Co-President; Sales and Marketing
David Einstein is co-founder of Efficio Solutions, Inc. and has served as a principal designer in the strategic direction and scope of the Efficio application since it’s inception in 1999. He brings over 20 years of media experience in television and radio marketing, sales and sales management to his position as Co-President of Sales and Marketing.

Throughout David’s career, he recognized the need for more efficient tools and better access to information so that broadcast sales organizations could improve performance, efficiency and productivity. By using technology to integrate all the unique silos of information that existed in a typical sales department and making it easily accessible to those who needed it, efficiency and productivity could be improved dramatically. Broadcast sellers and managers could focus on the task of strategy and sales performance and the administrative hurdles could be dramatically reduced . . . and so Efficio was born.

David holds a B.S. in Broadcast Management from the University of Tennessee.

Matt Longhouse – Co-President; Information Technology
Matt is co-founder of Efficio Solutions Inc. and has been focused on the execution of the business since inception. Matt brings over 14 years of entrepreneurial information technology and management experience to his role.

Matt’s career has been focused on helping businesses become more efficient and effective through technology solutions. Many organizations recognize the need for the technology but are challenged with an implementation strategy to ensure business processed are properly analyzed then streamlined into a highly usable solution. From diverse experience working with small businesses to large financial institutions, Matt's experience helped bring Efficio to life.

Matt holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering.
